The self-fulfilling prophecies my mother likes to talk about?  That's gonna turn on her one day.  "One day on the streets you're going to get beat up because of that dirty mouth of yours."  "One day you're going to lose your temper and kill somebody."  "If I ever leave you two alone you're going to hurt him very badly."

Geez.  Not sure how that works as parenting skills, Mom.  How long 'fore my brothers or I snap and kill ourselves because of you?
